Marriage Records 2006 onwards - 200 credits
England Wales & Scotland marriage records. Tracing a marriage record whether for a family tree or to further family research is often time consuming and frustrating especially when searching for a female due to the obvious possible name change. Modern (2006 onwards) marriage index records are not available on-line the only due to the Govt changing the rules. The only option available to the public to identify a recent marriage event is to personally visit the regional records office and research the marriage, records post 2009 are only provisional marriage records and can be added to on a daily basis from regional registries. Our investigators will on your behalf attend a regional records office and research the marriage to ascertain the General records office index information that is required to obtain the actual marriage record.
The recovery of the actual marriage record is available via our marriage certificate service using the previously identified General Records Office (GRO) marriage index information. If the search is returned negative 100 search credits will be refunded to your tracing account.
